Who is Rosemary ?

In the surroundings of Kolkata (Calcutta) there is a school trying to survive. Rose Mary is the name of a woman who grew up in the streets of the West Bengal capital. She created the school and is fighting everyday to give a wonderful opportunity to children with a very difficult social situation. Love for these children is her life. The work developed in this school is amazing without support of any strong institution.

My name is Rose Mary Lama, I am an orphan, but today I decided to dedicate my life to children to help those who are unhappy with this message of love.

I founded a school and an orphanage in Kolkata: “Little heart school”. All children dream of going to school. In November 2012, we had 100 children. Now, it's much more ... All these children come from streets or orphaned children. My life is blessed with these children.Our mission: EDUCATION and PROTECTION and HEALTH

L'école little heart et l'orphelinat

Je m'appelle Rose Mary Lama, je suis moi aussi une orpheline mais j'ai décidé de dédier ma vie aux enfants pour aider ceux d'entre eux qui sont dans le besoin.

J'ai fondé une école et un orphelinat à Calcutta : Little Heart School

Tous les enfants rêvent d'aller à l'école. En Novembre 2012 nous avions 100 enfants, maintenant c'est beaucoup plus. Tous ces enfants viennent des rues ou sont des enfants orphelins. Notre mission : EDUCATION, PROTECTION et SANTE.

L'orphelinat comprend une vingtaine à trentaine d'enfants qui vont et viennent entre l'école et l'hôpital. ils sont logés au dernier étage de l'école qui comprend chambres, douches et cuisine. C'est Deepa qui s'en occupe au quotidien. Certains ne sont que de passage en attendant que la situation de leurs parents s'améliore, d'autres seuls au monde y vivent en permanence. Le plus souvent c'est la police qui accompagne les enfants trouvés dans la rue, parfois des bébés sont abandonnés devant l'école.
